PSPCL Walk-in Interview Employment Notification for 14 Manpower Posts in 2023-24: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Patiala, invites applications from graduates, engineering graduates, and diploma holders to apply for positions such as Agent, Safety Officer, Assistant Mines Manager, Colliery Engineer, Surveyor, Foreman, Electrical Supervisor, Shot Firer, and Mining Sirdar on a contractual basis. The PSPCL selection will be made through a Walk-in Interview initially for a period of 3 years for its mining activities spread across District Pakur, Jharkhand. The PSPCL Careers walk-in interview is scheduled to be held from November 28th to November 30th, 2023

Age Limit: (As on 01/10/2023)

  • Agent – 40 years
  • Safety Officer/Training Officer – 45 years
  • Assistant Mines Manager/Under Manager – 40 years
  • Colliery Engineer – 40 years
  • Surveyor – 40 years
  • Foreman – 40 years
  • Electrical Supervisor – 40 years
  • Shot Firer – 50 years
  • Mining Sirdar– 40 years

Educational Qualifications:

Agent: 04 years full time B.E. or B.Tech Engineering Graduate / Integrated M.Tech / Dual Degree B.Tech + M.Tech or relevant qualification in Mining Engineering. Minimum 18 years post qualification experience.

Safety Officer/Training Officer: Degree or AMIE in Mining Engineering + Minimum 02 years post qualification experience (OR) Diploma in Mining Engineering + Minimum 10 years post qualification experience.

Assistant Mines Manager/Under Manager: Degree or AMIE in Mining Engineering + Minimum 01 year post qualification experience (OR) Diploma in Mining Engineering + Minimum 10 years post qualification experience.

Colliery Engineer: Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Mining Machinery + Minimum 07 years post qualification experience. (OR) Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics. Minimum 04 years post qualification experience.

Surveyor: Degree in Survey Engineering + 01 year experience.

Foreman: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering + Minimum 04 years post qualification experience.

Shot Firer: Diploma in Mining Engineering with experience in he field of coal mining. Minimum 05 years experience.

Mining Sirdar: Inter / Matric with 12th class pass certificate with minimum 60% marks with valid Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS for Coal. Minimum 05 years experience.
